Louise Osborn

Actress, writer, and theatre director, Louise's stage play Maudie's Rooms received its premiere at Sherman Cymru in Cardiff 2014, and, after running successfully, has recently won the Wales Theatre-Critics' Award for Best Production for Young People 2015.

Highly-regarded for her powerful and evocative work about social issues and young people, Louise's previous stage plays including Refuse dealing with sexuality and teenage pregnancy, and her acclaimed Estella's Fire exploring the relationship between Pip, Estella and Miss Haversham.

Louise's television work includes over 30 episodes of Hollyoaks (C4), and her radio drama includes Camilia's House for Radio 4, and Steel Stitches (BBC Wales)

A review of Louise's stage play Boy Genius praises 'the breathtaking ambition of writer/director Louise Osborn's piece, not only the actual structure of the audience experience but in the issues covered, and covered in a form that is essentially excitingly theatrical.' David Adams, Western Mail.
