Currently Head-Writing Series 2 of Pip & Posy for Magic Light Pictures, Matt is a Children's writer specialising in Comedy and heart.
His credits include Lucas The Spider, The Rubbish World of Dave Spud, Clangers, Digby Dragon, Supertato, Bottersnikes & Gumbles, Kazoops, Luo Bao Bei, and Dennis and Gnasher: Unleashed. Matt appeared in Prolific North's list of 50 top scriptwriters working in the North and regularly helps production companies, both large and small, to develop new IP.
In stark contrast to his children's work, Matt has also written the documentaries Dennis Rodman's Big Bang in Pyongyang (Showtime/Amazon), following the ex-basketball player's ill-fated diplomacy trip to North Korea, and Wildlands, an investigation into the South American cocaine trade. As long as he never includes any of those subjects in his children's writing we think he'll be okay.
