Ciarán & Mick are a comedy writing duo specialising in children’s animation. They are head writers, story editors, series developers and individual episode writers.
You might even have come across their alien alter egos, Zig & Zag!
Ciarán & Mick pride themselves on writing with humour, heart and a dash of zaniness. They are versatile, enjoy working on projects at any stage of development, and have a keen understanding and working experience of the production process.
From pre-school animation all the way to adult comedy, some of their credits include 101 Dalmatian Street (Disney), Danger Mouse (CBBC), Oddbods (Disney), Zig and Zag (CBBC), Open Season: Call of Nature (Sony Pictures), Dodge’s Pup School (CBBC), Claude (Disney Jr) and Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy (Discovery Family). Currently, script editors and episode writers on a forthcoming Hanna-Barbera series.
They have developed projects, created series bibles and sample scripts for Cartoon Saloon, Zodiak Kids, Tiger Aspect, 9 Story Media and many more.
