Samuel Hutchinson

Since graduating from Bournemouth University's 'Scriptwriting for Film & Television' degree, Sam has worked as a Script Reader for the BBC, Carnival Films and Peck Entertainment (Hollywood producer, Mitchell Peck). He gained his first TV credit as Script Consultant on the BBC2 short drama, Sleeping Lions, which was nominated for many awards, including a Children's BAFTA.

Sam spent a year storylining on Channel 4's Hollyoaks, and now has several writing projects in development with independent production company, Libra Television. Last year his feature script Prettywood, a survival horror film, was optioned by International Emmy Award-winning producer and director, David Barnes.

Sam's own projects include Charmers, which follows a cynical London hotel manager who, in order to resolve his girlfriend's mysterious death, must confront a grim haunting at a northern inn.

In Radio he regularly works alongside legendary variety entertainer, Bernie Clifton, to write and produce The Bernie Clifton Podcast (a live audience recording) for Cornucopia Radio.
